The United States Air Force Band of the Pacific-Hawaii ensemble “Small Kine” will be performing LIVE at the Coconut Marketplace amphitheater this Saturday at 4pm!

This event is free to the local community as part of their outreach tour to Kauai in conjunction with Memorial Day weekend. “Small Kine” is comprised of six active duty Airman musicians, performing popular music across a variety of genres in an engaging and dynamic show. As active duty Airman, their mission is to honor, inspire, and connect with local communities while showcasing the excellence and professionalism of all Airmen serving in the Pacific region.

The United States Air Force Band of the Pacific-Hawaii is located on the island of Oahu at historic Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (home to the United States Indo-Pacific Command and Pacific Air Forces) and is one of the premier musical units in the Indo-Pacific. The musical groups that comprise the USAF Band of the Pacific-Hawaii perform throughout this large and diverse area, and have performed in such locations as Singapore, Australia, Wake Island, Papua New Guinea, American Samoa, Beijing, New Zealand, Guam, and the Kwajalein Atoll. These Airman Musicians perform in a wide array of settings, from concert halls to street festivals, and from schools to air shows, and are always eager to connect with the diverse audiences that call the Indo-Pacific home. These groups have also performed for such dignitaries as Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump; Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann; and the Secretaries of Defense and Secretaries of the Air Force. Through the power and energy of music, the Band of the Pacific’s impressive performances create engaging moments that serve as a demonstration of the excellence displayed by the 46,000 Airmen serving, stationed and deployed, throughout the Indo-Pacific.  Learn more about the band and their mission of outreach here.
